Botswana agate is a premium banded chalcedony, a variety of quartz, known for its parallel lines in shades of white, black, grey, and occasionally pinkish-blue. Mined exclusively in the Bobo Nong district of Botswana, these volcanic stones are prized for their subtle banding and are considered a grounding stone.
