Gita Earrings Green Peridot

Handmade in our London studio in 22ct gold plated brass with gold plated sterling silver hooks, each stone is a 1cm peridot with that distinctive warm, golden-green glow that has captivated jewellery lovers since ancient Egypt.

The Stone

Peridot is one of the oldest known gemstones, found in Egyptian jewellery from the early 2nd millennium BC. The birthstone of August, its vivid green with a hint of gold is said to have a strong energising effect — stimulating the entire body and filling you with vitality and light.
