The Stone
Malachite is an important protection stone, absorbing negative energies and pollutants from the atmosphere and the body, guarding against radiation and clearing electromagnetic pollution. It was a prominent stone in ancient times — Egyptian pharaohs lined their headdresses with it, and it was ground into pigment for eyeshadow and murals. In ancient Greece it was linked to Venus, goddess of love; German lore held that wearing malachite offered protection from danger and could even warn of disasters to come.
